Barre is a full body workout, using the fundamentals of ballet and pilates. It is a high intensity yet low impact workout, focusing on lengthening and strengthening your muscles whist protecting your joints and muscles.
Barre is well known for improving posture, balance, co-ordination and flexibility. Each class finishes with a mindful stretch and balance.
You do not need to be good at dancing or a dancer to take a barre class, we simply use only the techniques and postures of ballet and pilates to shape and sculpt the body.
Barre classes are suitable for all fitness levels, both male and females more than welcome.
